Programs & Services
Lending a Helping Hand Program
Through our Lending a Helping Hand Program our residents will be able to assist with basic household functions and garden tasks as a part of their resident care and growth plan. As simple as closing the refrigerator door or dishwasher or assisting with meal prep in the kitchen or lending a helping hand in the sensory and botanical gardens through planting and maintenance. We will create special jobs, working 1:1 with a trained and experienced member of our staff. It is the simplest things we overlook as routine each day which can bring sense of inclusion and purpose for our residents.
Residential Services
The Blooming Flowers Sensory & Botanical Gardens offers a resident-focused, community-integrated residential home on the property which provides a safe, secure, and nurturing space to grow. Each resident can have their own room. The opportunity for a roommate will depend on mutual fit with another one of the residents.

We encourage our residents and their families or guardians to creatively craft their bedroom with family pictures, art, toys, and books to surround their loved one with a homely environment. Truly making the Blooming Flowers Farm their new forever home feels like home.

Residential House Manager:
The Residential House Manager will meet the state and federal requirements for a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) and medication certification. The RHM will oversee build out, implementation, & monitoring of weekly, monthly, and annual growth and diet plans to optimize the health and cognitive development of each resident. They will meet quarterly or bi-monthly with the parent or guardian to discuss their progress and any new developments or future growth plans for the resident. There will be accountability for our staff to ensure a peace of mind for their families or guardians.
